Active case finding / contract Tracing The risk of developing TB is high among high risk population which includes people living in slums . And low cost housing ,people living in crowded places, Prisoners workers in factories/industries including those Brick field /klin,mines and construction sites. The risk of TB infection is also high among the person close contract With sputum smear positive pulmonary TB (PTB) and DR TB patient .increased efforts therefore given and active Case finding among key population and contract tracing For increasing early diagnosis and prompt treatment under the initiative . high risk population will be indendified and awareness rising activities will be conducted to aware people on the need of TB screening And motivate them to come to the nearest sputum collection /smearing centre.
