Patient with substance dependency problem should be offered treatment for their  addiction  or psychotherapy. Complete abstinence from alcohol or other substance should be strongly  encouraged . if the treatment  is  respeatedly interrupted because of the patient “ addiction , therapy should be suspended  until successful addiction treatment  or measures  to ensure  adherence are  established . good  Dot gives the patient contact with support from health care providers , which often allows complete treatment  even in patients  with substance dependency.

Base line enzyme  estimation  should be performed  to check if the standardized regimen is appropriate. During treatment, liver enzymes will be monitored every three month.
